Caverns
Caverns is a rock band from New York City composed of Nicola Wincenc (vocals / guitar), Nick Katz (bass / vocals) and Russell Holzman (drums). Having met in High School, the band have immersed themselves
in their writing and playing ever since; currently working with renowned producer/ engineer Warren Riker on a forthcoming EP.
The group is heavily influenced by a plethora of bands like Tame Impala, Radiohead, Band of Gypsies and Pink Floyd – with some Rage Against the Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers thrown in for good measure.

Caverns cut their teeth at legendary rock venues all over New York City such as The Studio at Webster Hall, The Shapeshifter Lab, and The Knitting Factory as well as a residency at The Bitter End. Since the days of long post-gig subway rides and standing on sweaty street corners smoking cigarettes between sets, the band have landed noteworthy gigs in New York playing the Marc Jacobs Spring 2016 Runway Show at the Ziegfeld Theater along side Brian Newman’s Rainbow Room Big Band, and both The Highline Ballroom and Grand Ballroom at The Manhattan Center, subsequently they have begun to break into the festival circuit, playing most recently at Firefly Festival in Dover, DE.

The Deli Mag recently said of Caverns: “Throughout [Tonche], Caverns smoothly blend the atmospheric soundscapes of shoegaze rock and airy melodies of psych-rock, while retaining, in their lyrics and vocal harmonies, the accessible qualities of pop music. Considering their relatable songwriting and the melodic nature of their music, Caverns is a band that has the potential to go places.” (Isabel Rolston, Deli Magazine, Sept. 2015)
