Loose Buttons
If ‘Is This It’ and ‘Sound of Silver’ were bread slices, the four guys in Loose Buttons became real people-ish in about the salami part of the equation. A troupe of native New Yorkers (well we actually feel bad lying to you, one of us is from Connecticut), the quartet were struck by the energy buzzing around The Big Apple at some point in their early adolescent years and channeled that inspiration into strumming the guitar/plucking the bass/banging the drumset…blah, blah, blah, typical band bio stuff.

Either way, we’ve been together for a couple of years and have played around New York City and Miami a lot. Three of us went to college in Miami to pursue careers as dubstep DJs but eventually returned to our roots of indie rock and roll. So here we are. Pleasure to make your acquaintance. Our new single “Thrill” is coming out soon, we like it, Hopefully you will too.
B. MIles
B.Miles came to life in the dead of winter 2015, born from a troupe of close friends and trusted musicians locking themselves in an old storage unit-turned-recording studio on the remote ends of Brooklyn for days, weeks, at a time. They emerged with Miles’ debut, ’Twenty Fifteen,’ a brooding fusion of pop, R&B; and electronic influences that effuse shadowy overtones, vulnerable sensibilities and a decidedly chilling edge.

Released last August, ‘Twenty Fifteen’ has been streamed over 2 million times in the months since, reaching Spotify’s Viral 50 on four continents, seeing all three tracks individually reach the top 20 on Hype Machine and garnering support from tastemakers like Complex and BBC Radio 1, all coming less than a year after the project’s inception. Spearheaded by LA-born, New York-based chanteuse, Brenna Miles, and masterminded by Eric Nizgretsky, lead singer of the lo-fi rockers, Loose Buttons, the project has emerged as an indie darling poised to thrive far beyond the astounding accolades of its celebrated debut.
